In the case of sports shoes, attempts are made to give the sole a specific and desired spring behavior through the geometric design of the sole. This is to be understood as meaning that the sole has a desired effect in the vertical direction when the weight of the wearer of the shoe is applied Has deformation behavior, in particular a certain characteristic curve between the applied force and expansion in the vertical direction.

Ähnliche und andere Lösungen zeigen die US 2008/127513 A1 , die DE 34 40 206 A1 , die US 2009/0064542 A1 und die US 2 983 056 A .A sole of the type mentioned is from the DE 20 2005 017 043 U1 known. Similar and other solutions show the US 2008/127513 A1 that DE 34 40 206 A1 , the US 2009/0064542 A1 and the U.S. 2,983,056 A .

Another sole is from the U.S. 2,983,056 A known. The sole body is provided here in the transverse direction with a multiplicity of recesses which are designed to be circular on the side of the sole, that is to say in the transverse direction. The recesses are designed with different diameters, one with a smaller diameter being arranged between two recesses with a larger diameter. With such recesses it is possible to influence the spring or damping behavior of the sole.

The invention is based on the object of developing a shoe sole of the type mentioned at the beginning in such a way that it becomes possible to be able to influence the spring behavior and the damping behavior of the sole in a desired, predetermined manner in an improved manner.

Die Erfindung löst die Aufgabe gemäß dem unabhängigen Anspruch 1.The invention achieves the object according to independent claim 1.

The solution to this problem by the invention is characterized in that the two rows are arranged relative to one another in such a way that a recess of the first group is vertically above a recess of the second group, with the largest dimension of a recess being converted into one without external forces on the sole first direction is at least 150% of the largest dimension of the recess in a second direction, which is perpendicular to the first direction, and wherein the recesses, viewed in the transverse direction, have a circumferential contour that has the shape of a figure eight. The recesses preferably at least partially penetrate the sole completely in the transverse direction.

The recesses preferably extend along a straight line, so they are straight or linear.

Die Ausnehmung weist in diesem Falle in einemWithout external forces on the sole, the largest dimension of a recess in a first direction is preferably at least 180% of the largest dimension of the recess in a second direction, which is perpendicular to the first direction. The recess has in this case in one

The central area preferably has a constriction with a minimal extent which is at most 90%, preferably at most 80%, of the largest dimension in the second direction.

The largest dimension is preferably between 8 mm and 18 mm, particularly preferably between 10 mm and 15 mm.

The wall thickness of the material of the sole remaining between the recesses is preferably essentially constant, at least in sections. In this respect, it is preferably provided that the wall thickness is at least partially in a range between 80% and 120% of an average value of the wall thickness defined area of the lateral surface of the sole is determined).

The sole is preferably made of polyurethane material, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) or thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) or at least comprises this material. The material of the sole is preferably foamed.

The material of the sole preferably has a density between 0.20 and 0.50 g / cm 3 . It preferably has a hardness between 30 and 50 Asker C.

The sole can be designed as a midsole. It is possible that an outsole is arranged under the midsole.

The recesses are preferably arranged in the longitudinal direction over at least 33% of the entire longitudinal extent of the sole. They are preferably arranged at least in a midfoot area and a rear foot area of the sole.

The proposed design of the sole makes it possible to influence the control of the spring and damping properties or the hardness of the sole in a simple manner. Due to the design of the recesses, when the sole is subjected to the weight of the wearer of the shoe who is provided with the sole, a desired deflection can be realized.

The present invention is based on the use of so-called "mechanical meta material", in which it is provided that various rows of openings (known here are above all round or oval recesses in cross section) of different sizes are or are made in the sole. are to achieve a certain spring or damping behavior of the sole. "Engineered Damping" can thus take place, in which the spring or damping properties obey a desired characteristic.

When a deformation force is applied - caused by the weight of the wearer of the shoe - the resulting cells collapse in a special way, so that special spring or damping characteristics can be implemented.

In this respect, a “programmable folding or collapsing” of the sole structure is achieved, so to speak, since the structure itself forms a coherent system and the individual material sections are dependent on one another.

The advantages of the proposed structure can result in "negative stiffness" i.e. H. If you compress the sole a little in the vertical direction, the sole collapses in a defined way. It is also possible in the manner described to structure the sole in such a way that, on the one hand, it has a sufficient degree of elasticity and, on the other hand, it absorbs deformation energy as a result of a deformation force.

In Figure 1 A sole 1 can be seen that extends in the longitudinal direction L (corresponding to the longitudinal axis of the shoe that is provided with the sole) and in the vertical direction V (the vertical direction V indicates the direction when the shoe or the sole is used as intended stands on the floor). Furthermore, the sole 1 extends in a transverse direction Q which is perpendicular both to the longitudinal direction L and to the vertical direction V.

In the present case, the sole 1 is designed as a midsole, on the upper side of which the upper (not shown) is attached in a known manner. An outer sole 6 is attached to the underside of the sole.

These recesses preferably extend in the transverse direction Q over the entire width of the sole 1. Details on the design and arrangement of the recesses 2 can be found in FIG Figures 2 and 3 evident. This shows Figure 2 the detail "X" according to Figure 1 and Figure 3 the geometric design of a preferred embodiment of a single recess 2.

As in Figure 2 in the synopsis with Figure 1 can be seen, two rows 3 and 4 of recesses 2 are made in the sole 1. Two groups of recesses 2 are used:
A first group of recesses 2 'is designed in such a way that - without external forces on the sole 1 - the recesses 2' are made larger in the vertical direction V than in the longitudinal direction L. A second group is then present Recesses 2 ″ are present, which - again without external forces on the sole 1 - are made smaller in the vertical direction V than in the longitudinal direction L. As can be seen from Figure 2 results, the recesses 2 ', 2 "are arranged next to one another in each row 3, 4 in the longitudinal direction L so that a recess 2" of the second group is arranged between two recesses 2' of the first group.

The individual recesses 2 ′, 2 ″ are each designed in such a way that, viewed in the transverse direction Q, they have the shape of an "eight" Figure 3 Referenced.

Die Abmessung G beträgt dabei mindestens 150 % (besonders bevorzugt sogar mindestens 180 %) der Abmessung K.Each recess 2 ', 2 "accordingly has a largest dimension G in a first direction R1 (which is preferably between 10 mm and 15 mm); in a second direction R2, which is perpendicular to the first direction R1, the largest dimension is Recess 2 ', 2 "designated by K. The dimension G is at least 150% (particularly preferably even at least 180%) of the dimension K.

Diese minimale Erstreckung k beträgt bevorzugt höchstens 90 %, besonders bevorzugt höchstens 80 %, der Abmessung K.In the middle area along the extension in the first direction R1, the recess 2 ', 2 "has a constriction 5 (which results in the design in the form of a" figure eight "), so that the recess 2', 2" here has a minimal extension k Has. This minimum extension k is preferably at most 90%, particularly preferably at most 80%, of the dimension K.

Reference should also be made to the remaining wall thickness t that results between adjacent recesses 2 ', 2 ". This is shown in FIG Figure 2 registered in various places. If you determine an (arithmetic) mean value between the respective wall thicknesses t over a selected area (such as the area shown in Figure 2 is shown), it is preferably provided that the wall thickness t remains essentially constant. Specifically, this can be quantified in such a way that the wall thickness t at each point of the selected area is not less than 80% and not more than 120% of the mean wall thickness t.

The proposed configuration can ensure that the sole of the shoe has a special spring or damping behavior, with a predetermined collapse of the sole as a result of the recesses, particularly when the weight of the wearer of the shoe is applied, which provides a comfortable wearing experience.
