Abstract

L'invention concerne un moteur électrique à courant alternatif et un générateur à induction intégré, partageant une armature et un noyau magnétique communs. Les deux components fonctionnent ensemble, employant un champ magnétique, un rotor, un stator et un arbre communs. Les deux composants sont reliés à la même ligne électrique et emploient simultanément une source extérieure de puissance pour convertir une puissance électrique en force mécanique et / ou une force mécanique en puissance électrique. Chacun des circuits électriques est distinct mais interconnecté par rapport au circuit magnétique qu'ils créent pour fonctionner. Le composant moteur de la machine, qui convertit une puissance électrique en force mécanique, a la priorité pour l'utilisation du matériau magnétique disponible. Lorsque le composant moteur n'est pas sollicité, le composant générateur dispose de la majorité du matériau magnétique. L'avantage d'une telle configuration est la double fonctionnalité et les pertes d'énergie quasi nulles lors de l'utilisation en tant que moteur, ainsi que l'énergie produite lors de l'utilisation en tant que générateur.
