Abstract
Wound treatment of wounds with and without vacuum (16) and gas depot inserts (20), characterized in that between wound fillings (18), (19), (12) a gas depot (20) gas (3) for wound healing after activation of the filling 1 (4) and the filling 2 (5) for healing the wound (13) delivers.
Description
The invention for the treatment of wounds involves the use of gas reservoirs which deliver gasses to heal the wound and are placed as prefilled or refilled depots between wound fillings, where u. a. even a vacuum sucks the secretion.
It is a common task in medicine to suck out wound fluids. In particular, in the case of deep, large and, in particular, infected surface wounds, the hitherto customary practice is to place a wound dressing which does not adhere to the tissue into the wound. On this wound dressing, the physician brings a first layer of gauze, in which then by hand, a drainage tube, partially wound several times, and this is covered again with a second layer of gauze and then the entire wound site is covered with a plaster. The end of the drainage tube is then subjected to your negative pressure, whereby the wound fluid can be sucked off. In addition to the long time required to lay the above-described means time, this approach also requires considerable skill of the wound care practitioner, because during wound care all separately inserted device components are to be fixed, which often can not be accomplished by one person alone.
B. in

The present invention has for its object to provide a wound filling, which adapts to the wound and contributes to the better and faster healing of the wound by the escape of healing gases from a gas depot in the wound. Here, the gas depot should be applicable as a prefilled depot, in which the gas content is reduced by a membrane and an externally refillable gas depot by inflow and outflow of healing gases, controlled by a valve, adjusts the wound healing and wound size.
The object of the invention is solved by the characterizing features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.
The essence of the invention is that a gas depot consisting of two bag layers passes a layer of gas and the lower layer does not transmit gas. The generation of gas is achieved by the mechanical mixing of two substances in the gas depot or gas bag. The amount of filling determines the gas volume. In particular, the prefilled or externally refillable gas depots should contribute to the filling of the wound and to healing.
The invention will be described in more detail below with reference to several different embodiments.
