Abstract

The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for monitoring a module in a photovoltaic solar installation, said module receiving solar energy and converting said energy into electric current. The module has at least one photovoltaic cell for receiving solar energy and for converting said energy into electric current. A sensor is associated with the at least one photovoltaic cell, said sensor being coupled to the at least one photovoltaic cell, and designed, in such a way that operating parameters of the at least one photovoltaic cell are determined. The sensor is coupled to a control unit that monitors the module on the basis of said parameters.
