Abstract
The invention relates to a method for programme-controlled operation of a frequency converter, comprising at least one circuit arrangement supplied with one or more DC voltages (UDC), for generating an output voltage defined by a control signal curve (CS), wherein the circuit arrangement contains a number of controllable switching elements (T1, T2, T3, T4), characterised in that a number of possible switch combinations in the switch arrangement are determined and/or read from a memory, to give a switch combination from the relevant switch states of the switch elements (T1, T2, T3, T4) in the at least one switch arrangement and an output voltage is assigned to a switch combination which is the output voltage generated by the switch combination in the at least one switch arrangement - a set value (SV) for the output voltage for generation in the at least one switch arrangement is periodically determined from the current control signal (CSV) of the control signal curve (CS), wherein a switch combination is selected depending on the set value (SV) with regard to the output voltages assigned to the switch combinations from among the number of possible switch combinations and the selected switch combination in the at least one switch arrangement is set by corresponding control of the switch elements (T1, T2, T3, T4).
