Abstract

The invention relates to a method for operating an installation for combined power/heat generation. The inventive installation comprises a motor (12), a generator (18) and devices (24, 30, 34, 36) for recovering waste heat. The aim of the invention is to make better use of the theoretically possible overall efficiency of the installation (10). To this end, at least a part of the electric energy is stored in an electric accumulator (22) and is converted to a required AD voltage by means of a transformer, and the dissipated heat is stored in a heat accumulator (24). The required total amount of heat and current is determined for a corresponding period and the motor is operated in a foresighted manner using the stored capacities, thereby allowing for a foresighted and efficiency-optimized operation of the installation.
