なるため、一方の液体通路31aが閉塞される。このた
め、粘性液体は一方の突壁31の液体通路31aを経由
しては移動できなくなり、オリフィスとして機能するチ
ョーク溝33を通じて図4上矢印X方向に主として流
れ、他方の液体室から仕切壁2e,2fを挟んで隣り合
う一方の液体室へ流入する。なお、可動弁4の外面や各
突壁31,32の外面と本体ケース2との極めて僅かな
隙間を通じて矢印Y方向へも僅かの量の粘性液体が流
れ、突壁31,32を介して隣り合う一方の液体室へも
流入する。従って、粘性液体は主としてオリフィスを通
じて移動するのみとなるため、抵抗が大きくなり、回転
軸3はゆっくりと回転し、これと共に便座又は便蓋の閉
成動作もゆっくりしたものとなる。

おいて該回転軸を回転蓋等の開放方向に付勢するバネ部
材と、該回転軸の一端に基端部が連結されていると共
に、先端部が回転蓋等の適宜位置に当接可能に設けられ
たアームと、を有することを特徴とする回転蓋等の緩衝
装置。
