【0001】
ep(n):差回転数偏差
DLU=DLU+DFB…………………………………………………式2

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fastening force control device for a fluid coupling having a lock-up clutch.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, in an automobile equipped with an automatic transmission, a torque converter (one of fluid couplings) is interposed in a power transmission path from an engine to a transmission gear mechanism. The torque converter is integrated with a pump (input member) that rotates integrally with the engine output shaft and discharges hydraulic oil, and a turbine shaft (input shaft of the transmission gear mechanism) that is driven by the hydraulic oil discharged from the pump. It has a rotating turbine (output member) and a stator that rectifies the flow of hydraulic oil between the pump and turbine, and changes the output torque of the engine at a gear ratio determined by the rotational speed difference between the pump and the turbine. And output to the transmission gear mechanism.
[0003]
However, in the torque converter, a relatively large power loss occurs due to the viscous resistance of the hydraulic oil because power is transmitted from the pump to the turbine via the hydraulic oil. Therefore, normally, the torque converter is provided with a lock-up clutch that locks up the pump and the turbine in an operation region where a torque increasing action is not so much required. Thus, at the time of lockup, the engine output torque is directly transmitted to the transmission gear mechanism without passing through the hydraulic oil, power loss is reduced, and fuel efficiency is improved.
[0004]
However, if the lockup clutch is engaged and the pump and turbine are directly connected, the transmission gear mechanism will vibrate or shock during deceleration, low load, low rotation, etc., when engine torque fluctuations or rotational speed fluctuations increase. End up. Therefore, in general, the torque converter performs slip control such that a moderate slip is generated in the lockup clutch during deceleration, a low load and a low rotation, and the engine torque fluctuation or engine speed fluctuation is absorbed by the slip. (See, for example, JP-A-4-224363). In such slip control, the locking force of the lockup clutch is usually feedback-controlled so that the rotational speed difference between the pump and the turbine follows a predetermined target rotational speed difference.
[0005]
In general, in an automobile engine, in order to avoid unnecessary fuel consumption, fuel cut control is often performed in which fuel supply to the engine is stopped during deceleration. In the fuel cut control, when the engine speed is reduced to a predetermined fuel return speed, fuel supply is resumed to avoid engine stall.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, if slip control of the lockup clutch is performed by feedback control during deceleration, the feedback control becomes unstable when the engine speed decreases, causing the engine speed to wavy (for example, cycling, hunting, etc.) There is a problem that torque shock occurs.
[0007]
In addition, when the engine performs fuel cut control, slip control by feedback control and fuel cut control are performed in parallel during deceleration. At this time, slip control (feedback control) becomes unstable due to a decrease in the engine speed, and if the engine speed causes a undulation phenomenon, the engine speed becomes less than the fuel return speed when the engine speed undulates to the low speed side. Sometimes. In this case, since the fuel supply to the engine is resumed when the engine speed is reduced to the fuel return speed, there is a problem that fuel cut cannot be performed sufficiently and the fuel efficiency is lowered.
[0008]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described conventional problems, and when performing slip control by feedback control during deceleration, the stability can be ensured even when the engine speed decreases, An object to be solved is to provide a fastening force control device for a fluid coupling capable of preventing the occurrence of torque shock. In addition, when the engine is designed to perform fuel cut control, when performing slip control by feedback control at the time of deceleration, it is possible to sufficiently perform fuel cut and to improve fuel efficiency. Providing a fastening force control device is a problem to be solved.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A fastening force control device for a fluid coupling according to the present invention, which has been made to solve the above problems, includes: (i) an input member to which a rotational force is input from an engine; An output member that outputs a rotational force to the transmission gear mechanism, a lockup clutch that can be engaged with the input member and the output member in a direct connection state or a slip state, and the engine is in an unloaded state when traveling in a predetermined vehicle speed range. Decelerating slip control means for performing decelerating slip control using at least feedback control so that the input member and the output member are in a slip state when decelerating (that is, during deceleration)Fuel cut control means for performing fuel cut when decelerating and restarting fuel supply when the engine speed decreases to the fuel return speed;(Ii) during the execution of the feedback control, the rotational speed of the output member is, On the low speed side than the threshold value set higher than the fuel return speedAn unstable area entry detecting means for detecting that the feedback control has entered an unstable area; and (iii) when an entry into the feedback control unstable area is detected by the unstable area entry means, the feedback control is stopped, And a lockup control means for controlling the lockup clutch so as to approach the directly connected state.
[0010]
According to this fluid coupling fastening force control device, when the speed of the output member enters the feedback control instability area during deceleration, the deceleration slip control is stopped and locked up. The clutch is directly connected. For this reason, engine speed is stabilized and generation | occurrence | production of a torque shock is prevented. The engine also performs fuel cut control. When you areSince the engine speed is stabilized, the engine speed does not rapidly drop to the fuel return speed due to undulations. For this reason, the fuel cut can be surely executed until the engine speed decreases to the original fuel return speed, and the fuel efficiency is improved.
Further, the unstable area entry detection means detects that the output member has entered the feedback control unstable area by detecting that the rotation speed of the output member is lower than a threshold value set higher than the fuel return rotation speed. Therefore, it is possible to easily and quickly detect the entry into the feedback control unstable region.
[0012]
In the above fluid coupling fastening force control device, when the deceleration slip control means is configured to duty control the fastening force of the lockup clutch, the lockup control means is set by the deceleration slip control means. It is preferable that the lock-up clutch be brought close to a directly connected state by changing the duty ratio being changed by a predetermined offset duty ratio (increasing the fastening force). In this case, the engagement force of the lockup clutch is set based on the change characteristic of the differential rotation speed due to the change of the offset duty ratio (duty fluctuation amount differential rotation characteristic) and the actual differential rotation speed. preferable. In this way, the control accuracy of the lockup control means can be increased.

In addition, the
[0029]
The lock-up map is set according to the driving state of the automobile such as the vehicle speed and the throttle opening of the engine.
For example, as shown in FIG. 4, the high load / low vehicle speed region is a converter region in which the converter state is to be realized, and torque is increased. The low load / high vehicle speed region is a lock-up region in which the lock-up state is to be realized, and fuel efficiency is improved. The low load / low vehicle speed region is a slip region in which a slip state is to be realized, and both improvement in fuel consumption and shock absorption are achieved.
[0030]
In addition, a deceleration region where the vehicle speed is within a predetermined medium vehicle speed region (B or more and A or less) and the throttle opening is 0% (the engine is in a no-load state) should basically realize a slip state. It is a deceleration slip region, which achieves both improved fuel efficiency and shock absorption. Further, in this deceleration slip region, slip control by feedback control stops when the turbine speed falls to a predetermined threshold during the slip control by feedback control, that is, when the turbine speed enters the feedback control unstable region. Thus, the lock-up clutch 26 is directly connected. For this reason, engine speed is stabilized and generation | occurrence | production of a torque shock is prevented. In addition, when the engine performs fuel cut control, the engine speed does not rapidly decrease to the fuel return speed due to the undulation phenomenon. For this reason, the fuel cut can be surely executed until the engine speed decreases to the original fuel return speed, and the fuel efficiency is improved.
[0031]
Hereinafter, a specific control method of the
(Basic control)
First, the control method of the basic control of the
As shown in FIG. 5, in the basic control routine of the
[0032]
Next, in step S2, it is determined whether or not a predetermined slip condition is satisfied. Specifically, the slip condition is satisfied when the driving state of the automobile is in, for example, the slip region or the deceleration slip region shown in FIG. 4 and there is no other circumstance that prohibits the slip control. Here, if the slip condition is not satisfied (NO), the slip control is stopped in step S3, or the slip control is stopped, and then the process returns to step S1.
[0033]
On the other hand, if the slip condition is satisfied in step S2 (YES), a predetermined lock-up duty ratio DO for feedforward control (hereinafter referred to as “set value DO”) is set in step S4. The Subsequently, in step S5, it is determined whether or not a predetermined time has elapsed since the slip condition was established. If the predetermined time has not elapsed (NO), the lockup duty ratio DLU is set to the set value DO in step S6, and thereafter, the process returns to step S1. That is, as long as the slip condition is satisfied, steps S4 to S6 are continuously executed for a predetermined time, and during this period, the slip control by the feedforward control is executed with the lockup duty ratio DLU set to the set value DO. The
[0034]
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S5 that the predetermined time has elapsed, the slip control by the feedforward control is ended, and in principle, the slip control by the feedback control is started. In this case, first, in step S7, it is determined whether or not the engagement control condition is satisfied, that is, whether or not the deceleration slip control should be executed. Specifically, the deceleration slip control is executed when the driving state of the automobile is in, for example, the deceleration slip area of the map shown in FIG.
[0035]
If it is determined in step S7 that the engagement control condition is not satisfied (NO), normal slip control by feedback control is executed in step S8. On the other hand, if it is determined in step S7 that the engagement control condition is satisfied (YES), lockup engagement control is executed in step S9.
[0036]
(Slip control by feedback control)
Hereinafter, a control method of ordinary slip control (corresponding to step S8 of the flowchart shown in FIG. 5) by feedback control will be described with reference to the flowchart shown in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 6, when this feedback control is started, first, in step S11, a target value of the rotational speed difference (slip amount) between the
[0037]
Next, in step S13, a deviation of the actual differential rotational speed from the target differential rotational speed (hereinafter referred to as “differential rotational speed deviation”) is calculated. Subsequently, in step S14, the feedback control amount DFB is calculated. The current feedback control amount DFB (n) is calculated by, for example, the following
DFB (n) = Cp · xp + Dp · ep (n) ……………………
DFB (n): feedback control amount
xp: vehicle state quantity (oil temperature, throttle opening, turbine torque, etc.)
ep (n): differential rotational speed deviation
Cp: constant matrix of the
Dp: constant matrix of the
[0038]
Thereafter, in step S15, the lockup duty ratio DLU is calculated by the
DLU = DLU + DFB .......................................
In
[0039]
Thus, in the slip control based on the feedback control, the feedback control amount is set so as to reduce the differential rotational speed deviation according to the differential rotational speed deviation every moment, and the actual differential rotational speed follows the target differential rotational speed. . As a result, both improvement in fuel efficiency and absorption of vibration or shock can be achieved.
[0040]
(Lock-up fastening control)
Hereinafter, the control method of the lockup fastening control (corresponding to step S9 of the flowchart shown in FIG. 5) will be described with reference to the flowchart shown in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 7, when the lockup engagement control is started, first, in step S21 and step S22, whether or not the turbine rotational speed change rate is smaller than the set value Vta, and the turbine rotational speed is set to the set value. It is determined whether or not it is smaller than Nta (threshold).
[0041]
If it is determined in steps S21 and S22 that the turbine rotational speed change rate is smaller than the set value Vta and the turbine rotational speed is smaller than the set value Nta (YES in steps S21 and S22), step S24 is performed. Thus, a predetermined set value Dofst is set to the offset duty ratio (duty offset amount). The set value Dofst is, as will be described later, the actual value of the time required until the actual differential rotation speed reaches a predetermined value after the start of engagement of the
[0042]
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S21 that the turbine rotational speed change rate is greater than or equal to the set value Vta, or if it is determined in step S22 that the turbine rotational speed is greater than or equal to the set value Nta (in step S21 or step S22). NO), in step S23, 0 is set to the offset duty ratio (duty offset amount). This is because it is difficult to perform lock-up fastening control when the turbine rotational speed change rate is equal to or higher than the set value Vta, and when the turbine rotational speed is equal to or higher than the set value Nta, the feedback control does not become unstable. This is because it is not necessary to fasten the up clutch 26.
[0043]
After the offset duty ratio is set to Dofst or 0 in this way, the duty output value for lockup engagement is calculated in step S26 based on the lockup duty ratio DLU by feedback control set in step S25. And output. The duty output value when step S26 is executed subsequent to step S24 is a value obtained by adding the set value Dofst to the lockup duty ratio DLU by feedback control. On the other hand, the duty output value when step S26 is executed subsequent to step S23 is the same value as the lock-up duty ratio DLU by feedback control, and eventually slip control by feedback control is performed.
[0044]
(Offset duty factor learning correction)
Hereinafter, a specific correction method for learning correction of the set value Dofst will be described with reference to FIG.
As shown in FIG. 8, in this learning correction, the duty output value (T3) is calculated by adding the duty ratio (T1) immediately before the offset and the previous set value Dofst (T2). As described above, the engagement force of the
[0045]
In parallel with this, a target engagement time T0 based on duty offset and a target engagement amount A0 based on duty offset are set (T5). Then, the correction value α set in accordance with (T1-T0) or (A0-A2) is added to the setting value Dofst to correct the learning of the setting value Dofst (T6). The set value Dofst corrected in this way is reflected in the next calculation of the duty output value. As described above, since the installation value Dofst is learned and corrected, after the duty offset is started, the engagement time and the engagement amount substantially coincide with the target engagement time T0 and the target engagement amount A0, respectively, and the lockup is performed. The control accuracy of the fastening control is increased.
[0046]
FIG. 9 shows the turbine rotation speed, engine rotation speed, and duty ratio time when lockup is started during slip control by feedback control during lockup engagement control (deceleration slip control). An example of the change characteristic with respect to is shown. In FIG. 9, AS, A1, A2, T1, and T2 in learning correction of the set value Dofst are described.
[0047]
As shown in FIG. 9, in this example, the automobile is in a decelerating state, and the turbine rotation speed is decreasing at a substantially constant rate before and after the start of lockup. Then, when the turbine speed decreases to the set value Nta (threshold), lockup is started. Before the time when this lockup is started (hereinafter referred to as “engagement control start point”), that is, when slip control is performed by feedback control, the engine speed is a predetermined differential speed between the turbine speed and the engine speed. It keeps falling stably.
[0048]
Here, if the lock-up fastening control according to the present invention is not performed, the engine speed is greatly undulated as shown by the broken line. Therefore, when the engine is configured to perform fuel cut control, when the engine speed undulates to the low speed side, the fuel return speed (F / C return engine speed) decreases to the original fuel. Fuel supply is started at a time much earlier than the return timing, resulting in a reduction in fuel efficiency.
[0049]
On the other hand, when the lock-up engagement control according to the present invention is performed (solid line), the offset duty ratio is increased by the set value Dofst from the start of the engagement control. The clutch 26 is locked up. For this reason, engine speed is stabilized and generation | occurrence | production of a torque shock is prevented. Further, when the engine performs fuel cut control, the engine speed does not suddenly drop to the fuel return speed due to undulations. For this reason, the fuel cut can be surely executed until the engine speed decreases to the original fuel return speed, and the fuel efficiency is improved.
[0050]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, when performing slip control by feedback control at the time of deceleration, the stability of the fluid coupling can be improved even when the engine speed decreases, and the occurrence of torque shock can be prevented. A fastening force control device can be provided. In addition, when the engine is designed to perform fuel cut control, when performing slip control by feedback control at the time of deceleration, it is possible to sufficiently perform fuel cut and to improve fuel efficiency. A fastening force control device can be provided.
