Abstract
The present invention relates to a method of heating carbon nanotube which are selected from aerogels, xerogels and gels using an electrical current. The invention is also concerned with the use of such heatable carbon nanotube networks which are selected from aerogels, xerogels and gels in a wide range of applications including filtration, sorption, gas storage and catalyst support. The invention is further concerned with devices comprising such heatable carbon nanotube networks which are selected from aerogels, xerogels and gels.
