144,928. Curtis, L. V. Aug. 27, 1919. Trusses; pads; body harness.-Relates to pads for trusses, abdominal supports, special jackets &c. of the kind having a foundation composed of a dome-shaped structure of spring metal formed with a series of spring arms 2 radiating from the central plate, the ends of the arms being, if desired, slightly turned up as at 4 and consists in enclosing the foundation plate 1 on a leather covering 7, 7<x> and in fixing a suitably-constructed pad 5 having a covering 6 to the flat portion 7<x> of the leather covering of the foundation plate.
