Abstract

Static electrical-energy meter based on the processing of random signals. The invention relates to a static electrical-energy meter, consisting of the units 1, 7 connected to the cables of the electricity grid which generate the measurements Ui and Ii which are proportional to the voltage U and to the current I the units 2, 9 which rectify both quantities in order to obtain the signals |U| and |I| the units 3, 10 which generate a signal indicating the sign of U and I respectively the units 4, 11 which convert the measured and rectified signals into digital coding the unit 5 incorporated in a novel way which generates pairs of random 10-bit numbers which are employed in the digital comparisons carried out by the units 6, 12 in order to obtain coding by means of trains of random pulses Ue and Ie of the signals |U| and |I| and the unit 13 which generates the train of random pulses Pe which codes the power. The power consumed is integrated in the counter 14, attention being paid to the signs of U and I which are obtained from 15.
