Сущность изобретения: в емкость с глиноземом (Al2O3) при комнатной температуре вливается жидкий бром (Br). Раствор нагревается до 70°C, происходит самостоятельная экзотермическая реакция замещения. По реакции: 2Al2O3+6Br2=4AlBr3+3O2+Q. Из емкости удаляется остаточный кислород введением газообразного аргона. Бромид алюминия (AlBr3 t плавления=97,5°C) нагревается до 115°C. Полученный расплав подвергается электролизу: 2AlBr3+e-=2Al+3Br2. Катодом является алюминиевая решетка, анодом является платиновая решетка. Испаряющийся бром конденсируется, далее возвращается в производственный цикл. На катоде алюминий восстанавливается и оседает на катодной решетке. Катодная решетка с восстановленными алюминиевыми "наростами" подвергатеся плавке и формовой отливке.The invention relates to inorganic chemistry, and in particular to a method for producing metallic aluminum.
