Die Kupplung erfolgt in der Weise, daß in der Endlage bei phasenabhängig herunterreguliertem Strom die Kontakte 12 und 13 geöffnet und damit die Gleichrichter 10, 11 eingeschaltet sind, welche nun die Steuerwechselspannungen in negative Steuergleichspannungen umformen. Durch diese, Maßnahme erhalten die Steuergitter eine negative Steuergleichspannung. Ihre Glättung erfolgt durch die Parallelkondensatoren 14 und 15. Durch diese negative Steuergleichspannung tritt eine vollständige Sperrung des Stromdurchganges durch den Verbraucher 3 ein.
