In the third embodiment, steps S10, S20, and S40 of the control method of the electronic device 100 are the same as those in the second embodiment, and are not repeated herein; the difference is that the step S50 specifically includes:
step S510, when unread notifications exist, judging whether the number of the unread notifications is larger than a first preset value or not;
the first preset value is a certain value preset in the storage unit 20. Each unread notification is displayed in the notification bar with a certain width so as to display proper fonts and abstract contents to be matched with the reading of a user. The first preset value is more than 0 and less than or equal to n, and n is the maximum number of unread notifications with certain width which can be displayed by the notification bar with certain size. For example, in an embodiment, the notification bar is 5 × 5cm, the width of each unread notification is 1cm, and n is 5 accordingly.
Step S520, when the number of the unread notifications is greater than the first preset value, providing a notification bar size adjustment mark on the notification bar;
step S530, responding to a touch gesture triggered by the user to the notification bar size adjustment mark, and determining notification bar size adjustment information;
