Abstract
This is a reserve electrical power device that switches automatically from main grid power to back up 24 V DC battery power when the main grid power is not available.
The battery power is then converted into 240 V, 60 Hz, AC and/or 120 V, 60 Hz, AC. This back up power device can be used for artesian wells pumps, sump pumps, fans, oil furnaces, refrigerators, freezers etc. The duration of the backup power is determined by the amount of amperes consumed and by the length of time that the amperes are drawn from the backup supply. When the main grid power supply becomes available again, the device automatically switches back to main grid mode. When the device returns to main grid mode, the incorporated chargers will recondition the batteries back to optimum voltage.

Description
Specification:
This device is made up of two 12 V batteries connected in series or one 24 V
battery. It also consists of one 120 V AC Inverter as well as one 240 V AC inverter as well as an automatic switching device to detect when the main grid power is or Is not available. The automatic switch will cycle between backup power and main grid power depending on the availability of the main grid power. Once the main grid power is available, the automatic chargers will recondition the batteries back to optimum voltage.
This device also features:
Low battery alarm.
High voltage alarm.
Short circuit alarm.
System shutdown if alarms are not heeded.
Security lighting when off of main grid power.
Indicator lights for battery or main grid power usage.
Indicator lights for battery charging mode.

Claims
Claims:
This reserve electrical power device switches automatically from 240V AC, 60 Hz main grid power to back up 24 V DC battery power when the main grid power is not available.
The battery power is then converted into 240 V, 60 Hz, AC and/or 120 V, 60 Hz, AC. The conversion from DC power to AC power is done with the use of an inverter. This back up power device can be used for artesian well pumps, sump pumps, fans, oil furnaces, refrigerators, freezers etc. The input DC voltage is not limited to 24V DC and the output voltage is not limited to 240V AC. Both the input and output voltages can vary due to the demand. Modifications are required to vary these voltages.
