Abstract

The gas cooking hob has at least one gas tap (7) for a gas burner (1) and a control unit (35) with an electric switch (23,59) which with a pressed or rotated operation of the gas tap generates a control signal in the control unit. The switch is electrically connected to the control unit via at least one earthing connection (41,43). The control unit and the electric switch are connected in series in a signal circuit (5). The electric switch is connected via a signal line (33) to a first electrical connection (71) of the control unit.
