Abstract

 本発明は突入電流を低減できる直接形交流電力変換装置である。制御部(7)は電源スイッチ(5)を導通させるのと同時若しくはその前に電流形コンバータ(1)を制御して、抵抗(R61)が設けられた第1入力線(ACLr)と、第2及び第3入力線(ACLs,ACLt)の何れかとの間のコンデンサと、クランプコンデンサ(Cc)とを、並列に接続させる。よって、電源スイッチ(5)を導通させた際に、抵抗(R61)を介してクランプコンデンサ(Cc)へと電流が伝達されるので、クランプコンデンサ(Cc)へと突入電流が流れることを防止できる。また、例えばコンデンサ(Cr,Ct)はクランプコンデンサ(Cc)に先立って充電されることがないので、これらを並列に接続させた際にコンデンサ(Cr,Ct)からクランプコンデンサ(Cc)へと突入電流が流れることを防止できる。
